Merry Ho Ho to one and all! Pretty Little Liars is back from the longest hiatus of all times! And it is the long awaited Christmas episode! We go to the Ice Ball, snoop around Ali's hat boxes (because apparently they did not stop making hat boxes in the 50s), learn Mona had a lawyer on retainer and watch lesbian PDA at an old folks home.

Meanwhile, seven teenagers and their English teacher have an implied Christmas orgy.

The PLL hiatus continues. But we are not gonna let that get us down because it means we get to do another PLP Retro ep! We have been wanting to break down the Adam Lambert Halloween episode forever so we finally do it! Who cares if Halloween is over? Time is relative, man.

And special eps mean special guests! Our guest is just one of the best stand-ups working today. Period. Okay, well, not period because we want to brag on her some more. She has her own phenomenal podcast, worked for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and did we mention she's just plain f***ing hilarious? She is Kira Soltaonovich! Seriously, you guys, your humble hosts M & B come off as awkward pause machines because we just cannot keep up with the rapid-fire wit of Kira. She's awesome. We simply could not ask for a better guest to have for the episode where Adam Lambert flirts with Arararara (that will make sense when you listen to the podcast so get to it!).

Does this Pretty Little Liars hiatus feel longer than others? It does to us. But that is totally okay because we get to do another PLP Retro! Today we a going all the way back to season one to revisit the infamous glamping episode (season one, episode ten). You think you remember this episode but you don't. Well, at least we really didn't. We straight up forgot most of it actually. We were also fairly punchy to be honest. If you haven't relived an early PLL episode in a while then this is a great time to do it.

Meanwhile, Ms. Marin steals from old ladies all the while passing out hundred dollar bills to her kid!

Pretty Little Liars is still on hiatus so that gives us a chance to go back and revisit some our favorite episodes from past seasons. It is October so, naturally, we are going to cover a Halloween episode. In fact, we are covering the first Halloween episode inexplicably called "The First Secret" (episode 13 from season 2). And what fun is a PLL Halloween ep if we don't share it with someone? 

We invited Pamela Murphy to come watch her first episode of PLL with us! She has been on The Hotwives of Orlando, she is a mainstay at the UCB Theater, been on epic episodes of Comedy Bang! Bang! (the podcast and the television show) and a million other projects that she has made all the better by her presence. She is absolutely hilarious and we simply could not have asked for a better guest. You need to hit play and listen to us deconstruct everthing from sex-with-sheep jokes to Ali's test that breaks every single principle of logic known to man. 

Meanwhile, Ali eats a giant finger-full of ketchup and we are all appropriately disgusted.

Pretty Little Liars is on hiatus so it is clearly time for another episode of the Movie Club where we talk about movies starring PLL cast members. This week we break down the ABC Family TV movie Teen Spirit starring Lindsey Shaw (aka Paige)! It is October and we wanted to do a scary movie and this one has a teenager being electrocuted to death in front of the whole school who then comes back as a ghost to haunt the school's biggest loser. Scary stuff, right?

Meanwhile, as is standard with the Movie Club, we talk about the movie for about fifteen minutes then veer off and talk about other nonsense for over an hour. Fair warning, you guys. We talk as much about Batman vs. Superman and Sons of Anarchy as we do Teen Spirit. And Glee gets a lot of attention for some reason. We also talk about the fall tv line-up because that's why you're here, to know our thoughts on Gotham. We get so far off track that we forget to talk about the movie's big final joke: a second teenage girl gets electrocuted to death!

Where do we start? The Fatal Finale of the Pretty Little Liars mid-season delivered in every imagineable way so the whole PLP gang unites to break it down! There are Christmas boobs! There is a break in at Radley! Mona is as Mona as ever! Paige's curly hair isn't looking that bad any more! We even learn how the late Mrs. D was quite bed-hopper which leads to a discussion of how Ali and Bethenny are probably sisters or the same person or something. We got a lot to discuss, y'all. 

Meanwhile, we realize that Ali needs to stop wearing the whole jean jacket and floral dress combo right away. 

We have reached the penultimate episode of the Pretty Little Liars summer season. That means it's time for Melissa's secret! Set up your tripod, get the mood lighting right and let's do this! But we can't handle Melissa's secret alone (literally, we were both very confused) so we enlisted help to conquer the madness! We are joined by the host of The 40 Year Old Boy podcast, the man behind the fantastic stand-up album The Big Angry  and a man we can only describe as the Mark Twain of podcasting, ladies and gents, it's Mike Schmidt! He teaches us so many things including how Tanner went to the Columbo school of detectiving. And we wonder why Specer talks to a computer screen so much when she could just call her real life sister. They both have phones. On them. At all times. Seriously, Melissa went to London, not one of Jupiter's moons.

We are creeping ever closer to the Pretty Little Liars (mid-season) Fatal Finale so to help us get through this dark alley (you guys, it's a double entandre) we had to enlist the help of one half of the Comedy Film Nerds, author, director Chris Mancini! This episode introduces us to Ali's fake kidnapper and teaches that even if you confess to a crime and reveal knowledge of intimate details of said crime the police will still release you from prison within 48 hours. And Spencer is killing it in an avant garde Indiana Jones outfit. She has perhaps never looked better in all of PLL herstory. 

Meanwhile, the girls send weak link Emily to stand up to Ali on their behalf. Shockingly, it doesn't go well.

Have we mentioned how much we love Lt. Tanner? She gets precious little screen time each ep but Sweet Fancy Moses does she make it count. LT puts the screws to Aria and her mom about Ezra and his connection to Shana. It is amazing! All that plus Emily is riding a bike for some reason, Jenna and Sydney coordinate theiroutfits, we see glimmers of the old Caleb we love and Emily threatens to drown someone for being nice to a blind girl. Pretty Little Liars is better than ever! 

Meanwhile, Noel sits in his car, on the busiest street in town, windows down, listening to a super secret recording at full volume. It's awesome.

You guys, it is going down and it all starts here. For starters, the Pretty Little Liars are all in the choir now! Since when do any of these girls sing? Toby wants to be a cop, Big Rhonda fat jokes keep are plentiful, near death by horse and THE BUCKET INCIDENT!

Meanwhile, Aria's mom is still getting married. Do you remember she got engaged last season? Well, she did and we get to spend more time with her finace. And he is handsy.

Marissa is back to help break down another ep of PLL! And despite the Hannibal reference in the title we don't get to see Mona eat anyone's liver with fava beans and a nice chianti. Sidebar, that is the season of Pretty Little Liars I want to see where Mona goes full Hannibal Lecter and starts cannibalizing those rude little liars. Anyway, what we actually see in this ep is Spencer borrowing Ezra's pervy spy equipment to spy on her sister. Hanna must navigate between the feuding Caleb and Ali. And Emily is put on guard as her mom drops a diabolical bombshell on her: she wants to have Emily's friends over for dinner! 

Meanwhile, Big Rhonda, you guys.

Melissa is not here this week (she will be back, fret not!) but in her stead we are happy to have a Guest M! Her name is Marissa and she's awesome so you're in good hands. In this episode of Pretty Little Liars we discuss Ali's runaway plan and how these teenagers have instant access to thousands of dollars of cash in the middle of the night. And Lt. Tanner knows the ladies are lying and is hot on the heels of the PLL girls and is about to bust their whole story wide open. And it took her five seconds.

Meanwhile, Spencer wrongfully accuses her dad of being a murderer. Again. 

On this week's Pretty Little Podcasters we review a very special episode of PLL. And by "special" we mean "rapey." And we are not just talking about Aria and Ezra flirting with each other again. There are lotsa allusions to Ali having been raped while "in captivity." She even goes to a pitch dark doctor's office for an exam. Pretty Little Liars is all geared up for episode 100 so let's just get through episode 99 together, you guys.

Meanwhile, Becca from AP History is a huge a**hole. Aria should smack her.

Pretty Little Liars. Episode 100. We made it, you guys. And as with all monumental episodes we had to enlist help from a monumental guest. To help us wade through the insanity, we have the hilarious and uh-mazing host of the Dork Forest podcast, Jackie Kashian! It is a shipper's wet dream as we get some Emison, some Spoby and lots of Ezria. Way too much Ezria, if we're being frank. Anyway, Ali starts the day by going back to school and ends it by getting in a slap fight with Mona in a church. Some stuff happens in between and Jackie is here to break down each gasp-inducing minute as only she can!

Meanwhile, Caleb's back! For just three seconds but him and his fabulous new haircut are back!

PLL is marking time until episode 100, let's not lie. So in the meantime they are throwing some bonkers stuff at us. Listen as M & B surf the aftershocks (not a thing) of Ali's return to Rosewood and her mother's death. We talk about the massive police investigation that happens after Ali comes back from the dead the same day her mother is murdered. Oh, wait, that didn't happen. Instead, we talk about the Ali laying on her bed montage that happened instead.

Welcome back to the PLP Summer Movie Club! Here we recap and review some of the more noteable movies made by the stars of our favorite show, Pretty Little Liars. 

We have talked about this one on the podcast before. Now it is time to truly break it down. We watched Spring Breakers starring PLL maven Ashley Benson. Or, as James Franco would say, "Sprang Breeeeeeak." With open hearts and minds we journey down the Harmony Korine rabbit hole for boobies, party montages, lots more boobies and a whole lot more party montages. Oh, and some college girls become drug dealers but believe me, that is secondary to the boobies and party montages.

We have all waited a long time but the season five premiere of Pretty Little Liars happened! Questions got answered and even more got asked. Is Ezra alive? Who shot him? Why are there like 97 A's now? Where did Mona get that fierce jacket? And why is it so deadly to be a minority in Rosewood? Seriously, if you have too much pigment in your skin this town chews you up and spits you out. It was a totally bonkers PLL premiere (in the best way). Ever wonder what the stars of Pretty Little Liars do in their off time? Well, they star in movies, of course. So, in our effort to cover all things PLL we introduce the Pretty Little Podcasters Movie Club! On these extra special episodes we will be breaking down any film starring a PLL cast member. And to prove how serious we are, the first movie up is Palo Alto which doesn't really star anyone from PLL. It does, however, have a 90 second cameo by Keegan Allen. We thought he had a bigger role, you guys, we swear. Either way, we watched it so now you're gonna hear about it. 

The season four finale of Pretty Liars happened, you guys. And not only is A for answers but A is totally for Amaze-balls! This episode is truly bonkers, I can't even begin to tell you. We get to live the events of the fateful September night with Ali (Or as we're calling it, her "Hey College Age Dude, We Didn't Actually Have Sex" Tour) So, put down that worn copy of Tender is the Night that you read every summer and let's do this!  

The penultimate episode of Pretty Little Liars season four is here. With the revelation that Ezra thinks Mrs. D is "A," the Liars are sliding on their fingerless wedding gloves and working overtime! Spencer even gets to play in the Dilaurentis back yard (aka the Black Forest). We learn how bear traps work. We learn Travis has terrible ideas and we learn how to get engaged in two languages! You'll be so much smarter after this. We promise.

On this week's installment of ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, high school student Aria spends  the episode whoring it up in a hotel room in Syracuse. Oh, and she has pancakes and raids the mini-bar. Meanwhile Spence, Em and Hanna have a day much less centered around pineapple schnapps and a spent box of condoms. 

When we last left our heroes of Pretty Little Liars, Aria had just found out Ezra's dastardly plan! And by "dastardly plan" I of course mean "true crime novel." So, she is fittingly freaking out. Spencer politely declines rehab. And it totally works. Paily has a falling out. Oh, Paily is Paige and Emily. We didn't know that they had a cutsie couple name either. And, you guys, Hannah wears a jumpsuit so hideous that it distracts from anything she actually did in this episode.
